Counseling & Coaching for Pastors
|
You’ve read the books.
You’ve set the boundaries. You’ve tried the sabbatical, the delegation, the “self-care.” But something still feels off. You’re tired in a way that rest doesn’t fix. And you’re not alone. The real reason so many pastors burn out isn’t just the workload, it’s the emotional weight of leadership.It’s the people, the pressure, the unspoken expectations, and the constant demand to hold it all together even when you're falling apart inside.
Burnout doesn’t mean you’re broken. It means the system you’re in, and the system inside you, needs care. |
Understand the Systems around You
Every church, team, and family has its own emotional atmosphere.
And when that atmosphere is filled with stress, fear, or constant reactivity, it doesn’t just affect the group, it affects you.
This kind of anxiety spreads.
It doesn’t always look like panic or worry.
Sometimes it’s unspoken tension, criticism, resistance to change, passive-aggressive behavior from others, or the constant pressure to keep everyone happy. In churches, it gets even more complex.
There are three interlocking family systems at play:
And sometimes, you can’t tell where one ends and the other begins.
We help you:
And start leading and living with freedom

It doesn’t always look like panic or worry.
Sometimes it’s unspoken tension, criticism, resistance to change, passive-aggressive behavior from others, or the constant pressure to keep everyone happy. In churches, it gets even more complex.
There are three interlocking family systems at play:
- The church congregation as a whole;
- The individual families within that church;
- And your own marriage and family as a pastor.
And sometimes, you can’t tell where one ends and the other begins.
We help you:
- Recognize how stress and emotion ripple through your congregation
- Understand why some conflicts keep repeating themselves
- Untangle your role from everyone else’s reactions
- Lead without getting emotionally pulled into every crisis
- And respond with calm, clarity, and courage
And start leading and living with freedom
Understand the System Inside You
You’re not just a pastor, you’re a person with your own inner life.
And inside, you may have parts of you that feel tired, over-responsible, ashamed, afraid, or even disconnected from God.
We help you:
And inside, you may have parts of you that feel tired, over-responsible, ashamed, afraid, or even disconnected from God.
We help you:
- Get in touch with what’s really happening beneath the surface.
- Care for the parts of you that have been pushing through silently.
- Heal from emotional wounds you may not have had time to face.
- Reconnect with your purpose, your people, and your relationship with God.
You’ve probably already been crying out to God;
Maybe for strength,
Maybe for clarity,
Maybe just for something to change,
And maybe the answers haven’t come in the ways you expected.
We can’t promise easy solutions, but we can offer a space to be heard.
A space to lay some of it down,
To reconnect with your sense of calling, your inner life, and your relationship with God.
This isn’t a quick fix,
It’s a place to begin healing, with someone who understands ministry from the inside out.
Our work is confidential, spiritually grounded, and emotionally wise.
Sessions are available privately, or through our church sponsorship program if your church or denomination wants to invest in your well-being.
You weren’t meant to carry this alone,
And you don’t have to anymore.
