Church Sponsorship ProgramPrism Counseling & Coaching exists to support the care already happening within local churches. Pastors and church leaders are often the first place people turn when they are struggling, providing what could be described as spiritual “primary care” for their communities. We approach our work with respect for the trust you already hold with your congregation.
At times, parishioners may need more focused or ongoing support than their pastor can reasonably provide. In those moments, our pastoral counselors come alongside as pastoral care “specialists,” offering deeper support by integrating each person’s faith into the counseling process, helping them grow mentally, emotionally, relationally, and spiritually so they can engage more fully in their life, family, church, and community. We see our role as an extension of care for the Body of Christ, not a replacement for the local church. Whether you are a pastor referring someone or a congregant seeking help, our counselors integrate each person’s faith into the counseling process and offer reduced fees for members of participating churches, helping make care more accessible when it's needed most. |
"Where there is no guidance the people fall, but in an abundance of counselors there is victory."

|
Option 2: Church pays for the full cost of counseling. Some churches choose to sponsor counseling for members who need financial support. The church agrees to cover a set number of sessions at the church rate of $165 per session and is billed after those sessions are completed. A guarantee letter is required and can be filled out here.

Option 3: Church pays for partial cost of counseling. In some cases, the church and the individual share the cost of counseling For example, the church may cover part of each session while the client pays a co-pay (such as $50 or 50%). The church is then billed for the remaining balance after the agreed number of sessions. A guarantee letter is required and can be filled out here.

If this is something you’d like to pursue, please speak directly with your church leadership. We are not able to connect you with a church or guarantee that a church will agree to sponsor your counseling. If you have any questions about how sponsorship works, feel free to contact us if you have any questions about church sponsorship.
