Christian Counselor (State-Licensed or Pastoral Counselor) - Contract
Arizona Christian Counseling (ACC) is a growing pastoral counseling group practice located in Peoria, Arizona. The mission of ACC is to bring the highest quality of pastoral counseling and spiritually-integrated psychotherapy to those we serve, and to provide educational resources and training for clergy and mental health professionals.
Education and Credentials: All candidates must hold a Master's or Doctorate from a university or seminary fully accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Required Arizona state license: Licensed Psychologist, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT. Please do not apply if you are not fully licensed (no LAC, LAMFT, or LMSW candidates). If you practice as a pastoral counselor, you must hold ordination from a legally recognized church and have ethical oversight from a national organization (such as ACPE or AACC).
Counseling: Provide counseling to clients in-person at our office in Peoria and online through our secure telehealth platform. Compensation for therapy is based on income received and paid out twice monthly. Candidate must have a niche(s) (children, couples, trauma, family, etc.) and be able to provide counseling that is spiritually-integrated. Preference given to candidates who have experience and education in working with the LGBTQ community.
Entrepreneurial: Candidate must be willing to market themselves to grow their referral base and recognition in the community. ACC provides a steady stream of referrals as well. Candidate must be independent, driven, and collaborative. Candidate will be a 1099 independent contractor.
Teaching: As an Institutional Member of ACPE (Association for Clinical Pastoral Education), ACC is able to provide NBCC CE (Continuing Education) credits to local mental health professionals. Candidate will have the opportunity to make additional income by planning, teaching, and facilitating CE events and workshops. Candidate will also have opportunity to contribute to our online resources.
