Become a Better Version of You

We help everyday people who are committed to their personal growth — people just like you. A big myth about counseling is that it's only for people who have serious mental health issues (there are other places that provide that level of care but that is not our specialty). We work with people who are dealing with normal but difficult reactions to stressful or challenging life situations and just need support with that process. We also work with those pursuing personal growth. We won't try to turn you into someone you're not, our goal is to help you become the best version of you.

A Safe Place to Talk About Faith

Unfortunately, many therapists don't have specific training in spiritual integration when clients want to go deeper and talk about their faith. Most pastors also don't have enough training or time to provide long-term counseling to their church members. Our counselors, however, have highly specialized training around integrating your faith and spirituality in the counseling process. Whether you are a regular churchgoer, a seeker, spiritual-but-not-religious, or even have a lot of church hurt and trauma that you want to work through, our goal is to provide a safe, sacred place for you to work through whatever emotional and relational issues you may be facing. Our approach is never judgmental or coercive but is person-centered and grace-filled.

Prism Counseling & Coaching is a small private practice. We don't have waiting lists and our counselors each see a lower number of clients. That way, you won't have to wrestle with your provider's schedule and you'll receive quality, specialized support with a counselor that can truly be attentive to what you need. Often, you will be able to see a counselor within days of reaching out to us. We also make a priority to answer every phone call and respond to every email. You won't have to wait to receive care because you are more than a number here.

In-Person or Telehealth

We have physical office locations in Phoenix and Peoria. In addition to providing counseling in-person at our offices, we also provide online counseling through video conferencing on our secure telehealth platform. Whether you have a tight schedule or don't want to travel, you can easily meet with one of our counselors from the comfort of your home or office.

Peoria Location

Our office in Peoria (near Olive Avenue and the Loop 101) serves as our main location. Decorated in the Arts and Crafts style of the 19th century, we have three counseling rooms for individuals and couples in counseling as well as a large meeting room for groups.

Our office in Phoenix (near Central Avenue and Northern Avenue) serves as our second location. Decorated in the Midcentury Modern style of the 20th century, we have single large counseling room where individuals and groups can meet with a counselor.
